The Lost Island Nature Center has numerous opportunities for anyone that wants to volunteer.

The Nature Center is open every Saturday & Sunday from 1 – 4 pm, April through December.
Volunteer to be a weekend host. Our weekend hosts greet the public, answer the phone, and handle gift shop sales.
A volunteer newsletter is sent out bi-annually with recent updates and happenings at the Nature Center.
Volunteer to care for and weed flower gardens: From April through October, we are looking for volunteers to weed the flower gardens at the Nature Center. If you want to do it for a day, month, or several months, please give us a call.
Be a Volunteer for our Halloween Hike or one of our many other events.
These types of events vary annually and can always utilize wonderful volunteers.
Both volunteers and attendees enjoy our events!
